Parent/Guardian Contract

​​Parent's Duties

1.1. Parents are to ensure that their children attend in appropriate modest clothing and avoid extreme hairstyles, wear clothes that are not exposing, and avoid tight-fitting clothing.

1.2. Parents support, and participate in, the life of the school and are actively encouraged to be partners in their children’s learning.

1.3. Parents readily engage with the school concerning its work and are willing to take part in effective two-way communication

1.4. Parents will ensure they drop and pick the child up safely and on time. This means finding appropriate parking for dropping off a child and picking up the child. The house’s private front parking nor the neighbour’s car park are for use by parents at any time. Parents will ensure they do not obstruct the road (Albert Drive) outside the house as it’s the main road. 

Behaviour and Discipline 

2.1. Each pupil is responsible for contributing to the Prophetic exemplary atmosphere, relationships and quality of life complying with our school values and with the school rules as set out in the behaviour policy. 

2.2. By signing this Agreement, you agree that the teacher may authorise such disciplinary or preventative action as he or she deems necessary under the relevant Behaviour Policy in respect of your child. Removal, Suspension or Exclusion

2.1.1. The teacher may suspend or permanently exclude your child from attendance at the school if your child’s conduct is not in maintenance of discipline, the welfare of your child or of other pupils or the School as a whole, or if your child is unwilling or unable to benefit sufficiently from the educational opportunities offered by the School.

2.1.2. Persistent rejection of the School’s behaviour policy will result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the School. 

2.1.3. Removal can take place if details of any learning difficulties are not accurate in this form.

Term Time and holidays

3.1. There are 4 terms. There will be two 1 month holidays that will take place, Ramadan and Summer (August). There will be two 1 week holidays taken at certain times of the year. Dates will be provided separately at the start of each year on the school website/WhatsApp group. As term times will vary from year to year due to Ramadan.

Fees

4.1. The payment is not paid per class/lesson, rather it is a set fee for the month. 

4.2. Payment is taken monthly, except for the month of Ramadan holidays.

4.3. Payment will only be taken online for security.

4.4. Payment is only accepted over Stripe, not direct debit, cash, etc.

4.5. Cash will not be accepted at the door or anywhere else.

4.6. Payment is expected to be made at the end of each month for the month.

4.7. Continually missed payments and late payments will lead to withdrawing your child from school or refusal to teach your child/children.

Refunds or Compensation

4.1.1. Except at the School’s discretion, no reduction or waiver of fees will be made and you may not make any deductions if:

A. Your child is absent due to illness

B. or other reasons e.g. the School term is shortened or your child is released early,

D. or if you or your child has an outstanding complaint against the School. 

E. Teacher's absence, unless it is for longer than half the month.

4.1.2. The school will not be liable for any damages to property owned by the child or Parent.

Illness and Holiday

5.1. Please report the child's absence to the teacher 24 hours before if possible.

5.2. Any holidays should also be reported to the teacher 48 hours before.

5.3. Continued absence and holidays can lead to withdrawing your child from school.

5.4 Parents are solely responsible to ensure their child has any medication or inhalers if the child has a medical condition.

6.2. Information about your Child

6.2.1. The School relies on the accuracy and completeness of all information that you provide about yourself and your child. You confirm that all information provided in the admission process of any medical conditions, health problems, or specific educational needs which may affect your child whilst at the School is accurate, up-to-date and complete, and you agree to inform the School immediately of any changes to this information. 

6.2.2. Failure to disclose any information relating to your child may result in you being asked to withdraw your child if the School cannot provide adequately for your child’s needs. You must inform the School of the existence of any court orders about the child or of any special precautions that you require the School to take to ensure the safety of your child.

Admission and Entry

7.1. By signing this form and paying the fees, you agree to be bound by the provisions of this agreement in respect of the education and care of your child whilst at the School. The fees are refundable if your child does not take up a place at the school, except if they attend the first three lessons.

7.1. Cancellation of Acceptance

7.1.1. If you wish to withdraw your acceptance of a place after submitting the Acceptance Form but before your child starts at the School you must contact the teacher. The fees will then be refunded for that month. The teacher will require all payment details from you to do this. 

7.2. Withdrawal 

7.2.1. If you wish to withdraw your child from the School, we require one full month’s notice in writing of your intention to do so from a parent or guardian of your child; this written notification must be received before the start of the month. If you fail to provide this notice you may not receive a refund for that term or month.
