At Home Madrassa, we believe in providing high-quality Islamic education for children aged 13 to 19. Our curriculum is based on the Safar Publications methodology, which is designed to make learning engaging and effective.

Safar Curriculum for Islamic Studies
Ages 13-19
We will cover a range of topics, including Islamic Law, Islamic history, beliefs, manners, sira (Prophetic biography), personal development and spirituality.

Aqidah
We are teaching children the core belief system according to Ahle Sunna wa jamaa'ah, focusing on how to deal with the challenges of modern atheism.

Teaching rulings about worship, marriage, finance, food, clothing, social interactions, and other subjects.
sPRITUALITY

Teaching your child a practical course to achieve the pleasure of Allah, connection with the Prophet, better relationship with people, and having the awareness of Allah.

hISTORY
Learn about the 4 Caliphs and their lives. Also other Muslim states, including the Ottomans. Also to understand the current situation of Muslim countries.
cONTEMPORY
ISSUES
Being about to deal with modern Libreal viewpoints, the use of technology and social media within the guidelines of Islam.

The national curriculum has been thoroughly consulted in order to ensure the content in our books is relevant, appropriate and meaningful to young Muslims and teachers, today. This includes consideration of subjects such as RE (Religious Education), SRE (Sex and Relationship Education), and the humanities, as well as objectives such as SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural development), life skills and citizenship skills.

Summary of the
3 Year Course
Year 1
The aim is to cover all of Book 7 within the first year.
We will also be having break-out sessions where the focus will be the purpose of life, identity, and belief in Allah. We will also be getting the students to be able to explain and defend their religious viewpoints.
Year 2
The aim is to cover all of Book 8 within the first year. We will also be having break-out sessions that will teach how to practically achieve the pleasure of Allah and connection with the Prophet Muhammad (s).
Year 3
Review books 7 and 8 key topics.
As well as covering:

Hadith studies using Imam Nawawi's 40 hadith.

Fiqh topics related to marriage, finance, also rulings relating to the Halal and Haram.

Description of the Prophet (Shama'il).
